A daily dose of hilarious truth!
And it's that time of year to remember who the real King of the North is!
science shows that humans have been living on earth more than 6000 years (contrary to ot chronology).
again inconsistency is pointed out in nt too which says jesus who did countless good worksincluding control over forces of nature and even death itselfyet people killed him, just like killing the duck that lays golden egg!.
despite such inconsistencies, a single verse in the bible can solve all our problems: don't call anyone on earth 'father,' because you have only one father, the one in heaven.
Why do I get the feeling that a few points will be added later...
6. A Final Solution shall be instituted to "deal with "Jews and other non-Christians, Poles and other 'non-Ayrians', homosexuals and any that do it non-missionary position, Gypsies and any others that we may randomly select, and any that contradict the 'Bible based' mandate of the government.
7. Repeal of #3 since new light from the OT reveals that women are only the property of men.
8. Modification of #2 to have people work 12 hours per day since productivity has dropped since all the Jews, Poles, homosexuals, Gypsies, etc. have been worked to death in the labor camps and that cheap slave labor is gone.
Christianity has had 2000 years to "solve all our problems". It hasn't happened. Before that, the OT was there to solve all the problems of the Jews. That didn't happen.
my dad heard from the co who heard from a do that heard from his brother-in-law that heard from the friend of a governing body's wife, that the gb is getting very concerned that "the friends" are losing sight of the nearness of the panda-petting paradise.
many of these friends are also looking too critically at the "spiritual food" provided by the "faithful slave class.".
don't tell anyone else, but i hear that the gb has begun testing something new on some of the sheeple.
BTTT for the holiday season!
WT needs to stop fighting against the Christmas spirit of giving, and cash in on it instead.
Hey WT Corporation! You could rake in the dough if you'd start marketing my new business ideas... I'd only charge a modest fee for my product and marketing ideas.
now that enough time has passed and i've moved away, i think i'm overdue to share some of the stories from my fade.
i've mentioned some of this before, but i think it deserves its own thread.. we all would like to be able to freely ask questions about jw beliefs and get our family and friends to really think about certain questions.
however, when you're a baptized jw, you really can't ask any good questions or you'll get the "apostate" label slapped on you!
Here's some additional info on the ark/animal issues:
And here's more on population issues after the flood:

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like all Leolaia's linked images are showing up anymore . I miss Leo.
after a live 3 hour performance, the "american idol" winner tweets,.
"glory to god tonight...i couldn't be more proud.
what a tough thing to pull off and we did it!
This comes to mind...
i would love to hear the views of believers on this subject.. the mormon cult used to say this was black skin, and was one of the reasons why that cult would appoint black men to the preisthood.
but they weren't the only ones who considered this to be the case.. the interesting thing is this mark offered cain god's ordained protection despite his killing his brother.
why would god afford him protection when murder was punishable by death?
Here's the mark of Cain.
Yep, dude had a candy cane tramp stamp.

I guess I hadn't mentioned it on this thread yet, but when I pose these questions I don't frame them for my listener to repond. I tried as much as possible to not put them on the spot and raise their defenses. I wanted them to open their mind. It's just a matter of getting them to understand the scenario and that they can't just parrot, "Rely on Jehovah." My parents had been the mostly likely to try to create a response, but I stop them with, "but what have we been taught? What information has WT published that we can use to answer the question without using personal speculation?" I suppose in the debating style, I used an "I'm on your side" kind of approach where we were stuck between WT's lack of direction and a householder/workmate/relative/classmate that poses a legit question.
Additionally, I've used the scenario about the blood issue when talking with Jews in the ministry. Jews accept transfused blood because they understand the law is a dietary restriction and nobody in the bible was killed for eating blood. Additionally, the restriction only applied to the blood of dead animals, not live donors. So how do you correct the thinking of a Jew... who clearly understands the OT better than WT does.
i was thinking about using a tactic of asking questions revolving around "noahs flood" to try to start my wife doing some serious thinking.
unlike doctrine that cannot often be proven one way or another, this issue can be proven beyond the slightest doubt that it is impossible.. i was thinking about asking a question something like this "i was reading about coral reefs today, and they sure are amazing!
what amazed me the most is how long it takes for them to build the reef, and how long they live!
Talking about the flood was a subject I've used many times. The most memorable was with my parents. It didn't "wake them up", but it changed their point of view and they haven't hassled me about fading.
Two things worth mentioning: 1) I didn't pose it as my question... something that I thought up. Instead I worded the entire subject as something I'd encountered in "the ministry", and a fair question that anybody could ask at the door. If somebody at the door asks a logical question of you at the door, you can't scream "That's apostate!" It's a reasonable Bible question that deserves an answer. Which leads to... 2) I phrased the question in such a way that WT should supply an answer. When discussing it with my parents and they tried to make up an explanation, I stopped them and said it wasn't their place to come up with an explanation outside of WT publications. If WT produces a Reasoning book, it should answer such a basic question.
More details about the way I raised questions.
has anyone seen this post on facebook?
the comments below it are staggering!
so many suffering from depression... along with the few judgementalists.
Once you know what's what, you find lots of depression and medication in Bethel.
Once I came back to the hometown congregation, there's lots of depression and medication there, too.
I will readily agree that there is lots of depression and medication in "the world" as well. However, JWs advertise themselves as "the happiest people on earth". That's deceptive.
to all congregations in the united states branch territory re: moving to where there is a need for publishers in another language .
dear brothers: .
many of our brothers and sisters are learning another language to help sincere individuals to seek god .
I'd served in a foreign language congregation for a while. I still remember when a couple of pioneer sisters moved in from several states away. They were not proficient with the language. One got involved with a coworker and was DFd. The other moved back home within a year. The congregation was growing, but had lots of problems. Some that had been JWs for years, still didn't really know what JWs believed. "Uh, yeah, we believe in the trinity." Their family members were JWs, and they just tagged along. Most of them were very poor.
